With the help of volunteers, shelter staff, transporters, sponsors, chocolate sellers and everyone who attended our fun Halloween Fundraiser, 2009 has seen S.O.S. rescue and rehabilitate more abandoned animals than every before.

These coming holidays mean the shelter will be at maximum capacity as we move in to a peak 'dumping season'.
Our cattery is full, and our nursery has no more spaces.
We will have to turn away those in need.
And still, animals continue to be given as gifts only to end up unwanted.
You can help. Now is the time to get the message out:
Pets are for life, not just for Christmas.

We are committed to reducing the numbers of stray animals destroyed every year.
Most come to the shelter via the council pounds.
We feed, house and care for them.
We love them and train them.
We ensure they see the vet for desexing and a clean bill of health.
And finally, when the right home comes along, we wave goodbye knowing there is a better future ahead for one more stray.
All donations of dry food gratefully accepted by our hungry strays.
