 Letter from Gertie's family:

Dear Tracey

Hi, how are you. I hope all is going well for you, your pooches and your shelter. We are always thinking about you, and the wonderful blessing you brought into our lives, little Gertie.

Gertie is doing so well,and has settled in beautifully. She has come out of her shell tremendously since she joined our family. As soon as she hears our cars pull into the driveway, she lets the whole neighbourhood know. She has become my shadow, like Cuddles, and follows me everywhere.

She loves going for walks, and loves sitting out in the morning sun. Her little character is really shining through now, and when excited, starts spinning around in circles and jumps up into the air. Her skin condition has totally cleared up since seeing the vet and having it treated,and with some special shampoo and conditioner from the vet, there has been no re-occurrance.

She loves snuggling up on the lounge with human contact,and especially loves sleeping on the bed. It can get crowded with both Cuddles and Gertie on the bed,but it is so comforting having them there. Gertie is so good with Riannan's rabbit, and is not at all phased when Fluffy is out running around in the grass. Gertie sniffs her and licks her ears, but never chases her. Gertie is such a gentle soul,and everyone who has met her,has fallen in love with her. There have been no health issues to date, and she has only had to go to the vet for a general check up, and to have her claws clipped.
