Tara is a victim of the throw-away society. She and her three friends were dumped, louse-ridden and in shocking condition to fend for themselves. All four ended up in the pound, fed and tended for 7 days by the staff there and then rescued by SOS knowing they would all need long term rehab.

Tara is the worst. So feeble and too weak to stand, her vet decided she needed foster care immediately. 

The good news is she is improving every day. She will need surgery when she is strong enough to remove large benign skin tumors caused by living in filthy urine soaked conditions and her constant efforts to groom.
